Mondo means world in Italian. It was in Florence, Italy that owner Mikell Stringham went seeking out new experiences in the art world, and studied painting, interior design, photography, and gallery management with top designers, artists, and galleries to cultivate her eye for fine design and artwork.

Since starting Mondo Fine Art in 2009, Stringham has traveled extensively in search of great contemporary art to share with her clients.  She visits as many international contemporary art fairs and exhibitions as she can in order to stay current with the ever changing and expanding scope of art.

As a private art dealer and consultant, Stringham works closely with collectors, corporate art buyers, interior designers, and institutions to assist in their art collecting goals and projects. Some of these clients include: Nordstrom, FLSmidth, Avatar Design, Light Spot, In Studio Design, Summit Point Realty, and countless individual collectors from around the world.

Both the international art community as well as the Utah local art community are very important to Mikell and she supports them in various roles such as: Membership Chair for the Young Benefactors of the Utah Museum of Fine Art, Board Member of the Central Utah Art Center, Founder and Director of the Mondo Art Project, and various other volunteer positions for community events in the arts.
